Privacy Policy
Version 2026.07.29 — effective 29 July 2026
What changed in this version: Our contact address for privacy, support and account-deletion requests is now support@772inc.com — the same address printed on our App Store and Google Play listings, so there is only ever one inbox to write to. The phone number, postal address and every response-time commitment are unchanged.
SafeCare is the daycare-management app used by the SafeCare daycare network in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Guardians use it to follow their child’s day, message the daycare, and pay fees; daycare staff use it to run attendance, daily care, and billing. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have.
The short version: we collect only what is needed to run the daycare service. We do not show ads, we do not sell your data, and we do not use your data to track you across other apps or websites.
1. Who we are
The app is operated by the SafeCare daycare network ("SafeCare", "we", "us") for the families enrolled at its centers and for its own staff. It is available at app.safecarebd.com and as the SafeCare mobile app. For any question about this policy, contact us using the details in the "Contact us" section below.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information, all of them to provide the daycare service:
- Guardian account details — your name, phone number, optional email address, and preferred language. Your phone number is your login (we send a one-time code by SMS; there is no password).
- Child profile — your child’s name, date of birth, class group, home address, authorized pickup contacts, and health information the daycare needs for safe care: allergies, medical conditions, medications, immunization records, blood group, and doctor contacts.
- Government identity documents — a National ID (NID) number, and a scan or photo of the NID, passport, or driving licence, for guardians, authorized pickup persons, and staff. Our staff cross-check the ID of whoever comes to collect a child against the authorization on file before releasing that child; for employees it is part of the statutory employment record. It is used for nothing else, is visible only to staff at that centre, and is stored in a private bucket reachable only through short-lived signed links.
- Photos and videos — pictures the daycare shares of your child’s day, and photos you attach to messages or your profile.
- Audio — voice notes you or daycare staff record and send in messages.
- Payment and billing records — invoices, payment claims you report (e.g. bKash/Nagad/bank transfer reference), receipts, and payment history. When you pay online through a payment gateway, the payment itself is processed by that provider; we never see or store your card number, wallet PIN, or banking credentials.
- Messages — your conversations with the daycare inside the app, including message text, attachments, and read status.
- Identifiers — an internal account identifier that links you to your children, your messages and your invoices, and, if you turn notifications on, a push-notification token that identifies the one device an alert should be delivered to. The token is used for nothing else, is never joined to anything outside your account, and is dropped when you sign out.
- Diagnostics — crash reports and basic technical data (device model, operating system, app version) via our error-monitoring service (Sentry), used only to find and fix bugs. Diagnostics are not linked to your identity and are not used for advertising or tracking.
3. How we use your information
We use this information for one purpose: providing the daycare service. That includes recording attendance and daily care, sharing your child’s day with you, messaging, billing and receipts, safety compliance (for example staff-to-child ratios, medication logs, and authorized pickup checks), and required record-keeping.
We do not show advertising, we do not sell or rent your information to anyone, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
4. Children’s information
The app’s users are adults: guardians and daycare staff. Children do not use the app and cannot create accounts. Information about a child is entered by the daycare as part of enrollment, with the guardian’s consent, and is visible only to that child’s guardians and to the daycare staff who care for the child.
5. Where your data lives and how it is protected
Your data is stored with reputable cloud hosting providers (database and media storage). All traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
Access is restricted by role: a guardian sees only their own children; staff see only the center they work at. Sign-in uses one-time codes sent to your phone, sessions can be revoked, and administrative actions are recorded in an audit log.
6. When we share information
We share information only with the service providers we need to run the app, and only what each one needs:
- Fly.io, which hosts the backend systems that power the app — the servers that record check-ins, meals, naps, messages and invoices run there.
- Vercel, which hosts the web app at app.safecarebd.com that families and staff use.
- Cloudflare, which stores uploaded photos, voice notes and documents (media storage) and delivers our public websites quickly and reliably.
- Sanity.io, which manages the content of our public marketing website (safecarebd.com) only — it never handles family, child or payment data.
- An SMS provider, to deliver your one-time sign-in codes.
- Payment gateways (such as bKash or SSLCommerz), only when you choose to pay online — they process the payment under their own terms and privacy policies.
- A crash-reporting service (Sentry), which receives technical diagnostics only.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of a child. We never sell data, and we never share it with advertisers or data brokers.
7. How long we keep data, and deletion
We keep your family’s records while your child is enrolled and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, accounting, and child-safety record-keeping under Bangladesh law.
You can ask us at any time for a copy of your data (export) or for deletion of your account and your family’s information. There are four ways to ask, and you do NOT need to be able to sign in to use them: open Settings → "Delete my account" in the app; open app.safecarebd.com/delete-account in any browser; email support@772inc.com; or call +880 1700-761332. Your center manager can also file the request for you.
We confirm every deletion request, and we complete it — or explain in writing why part of it must wait — within 30 days. Deletion removes your sign-in identity, your contact details, your messages, and the photos, notes and daily logs held for your family. We sign you out of every device straight away and complete the deletion after a 14-day grace period, during which you can cancel by signing in.
Three categories survive a deletion request, and only these: (a) invoices, receipts and payment records, kept for the period Bangladeshi accounting and tax law requires — legal basis: legal obligation; (b) child-safety records such as incident and medication logs, kept for the retention period our childcare licence requires — legal basis: legal obligation and the vital interests of a child; (c) security and audit logs recording who did what in the app, kept for up to 24 months — legal basis: our legitimate interest in being able to investigate misuse. These retained records are locked down to accounting and safeguarding staff and are never used to contact you again.
8. Your choices
- Language — the app works fully in English and Bangla; switch any time.
- Notifications — you control push notifications from your device settings and in-app preferences.
- Corrections — if any detail about you or your child is wrong, tell your center and we will correct it.
- Camera, photos, and microphone — the mobile app asks for these permissions only when you use the matching feature (attaching a photo, recording a voice note). You can decline; the rest of the app keeps working.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top and notify guardians through the app. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
10. Contact us
One address, one number — the same ones printed on our App Store and Google Play listings, so you never have to guess which is current. Email support@772inc.com, call +880 1700-761332, message us inside the app, or speak to your center manager. You can also write to Safe Care Services, House-60, Road-06, Section-12, Block-A, Pallabi, Mirpur, Dhaka-1216, Bangladesh.
A person reads that mailbox Saturday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM (Bangladesh time) and replies to privacy, deletion and abuse messages within 2 business days. Anything involving a child’s immediate safety is escalated the same day, within 24 hours.
